He was tending to the garden outside the porch of his small one-story home on a summer day, the blinding rays emitting from the sun causing him to squint at the vehicle that slowed in front of him. The car door opened. “Can you help me?” Julius turned this way and that before pointing to himself. “Me?” With some hesitance, he reached the black car glistening with the evidence of a new wash, and poked his head into the window. “What with?” The man, standing at 180cm, told Julius to come around to the driver’s side.
